The objective of the Lab of vehicle dynamics is to provide some additional tools to model and analyse vehicle dynamics problems.
The use of multibody analysis software that allows modelling and analyses of complex vehicle systems is presented, taking into account realistic kinematic and the dynamic behaviors.
All the listed arguments will be faced through examples and exercises:
- Geometry features and component connections.
- Import and management of external geometry files.
- Creation of dynamic models.
- Creation and management of contacts.
- Optimization process.
- Creation of control system.
- Introduction to co-simulation to perform external control.
The students will develop their own project by using the presented software.
